Immersed in the Vermont Academy forest each session behind Main Street Arts, we will play theatre games (including lots of improv), learn theatre warm-ups for our voices and bodies, sing, story-tell, explore and play in the forest, and rehearse for the final performance. We will work on character-building activities, various acting techniques, and set and costume design.
Camp is full!
Trish Roberts has been engaging children and teens in theatrical endeavors for over twenty years. She has directed preschoolers and elementary-aged children both for after-school and homeschool programs, including literature-based drama programs, and has staged several full-length productions at the high-school level. However, as in any other experience, the risk of injury is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. Knowing that there are risks, I will not hold Main Street Arts responsible for any risks, injuries, or loss, known or unknown, that may arise out of my or my child's participation in Main Street Arts Summer Camp.
CANCELLATION POLICY: We understand that plans change! However, because we are a small nonprofit, cancellations can make it more challenging for us to manage camp enrollment. Our policy is that cancellations made up to one month (4 weeks) prior to the camp week will receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee. For cancellations less than one month prior to the date, refunds will be made only if we can fill the space. We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds in the case of camper illness or inability to attend for other reasons.
