Tantric Hatha links dynamic movement and stillness with the breath, inviting an experience of both strength and ease— it is most similar to a “hatha” or “all-levels vinyasa” yoga class at any public studio.
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation technique and restorative practice through guided savasana meditation.
To be prepared for class at Main Street Arts;
Simply wear something comfortable to move in (pajamas, yoga clothes, gym clothes, etc). You may want socks and a sweater or a light jacket to wear for savasana resting pose.
Requests for areas of body that need attention, or questions about the yoga practice are always welcome.
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one— we will have a few extra yoga mats available, as well as some yoga blankets and blocks, but if you have props and a mat that you enjoy practicing with, please bring it along to make sure there are enough to go around!
