Stories & Songs: A Cabaret!
With Charles Peoples III
|
Everyone has a song to sing and a story to tell. Whether you are a seasoned performer or stepping up to the microphone for the very first time, we invite you to be part of this special community cabaret.
This six-week session will be a supportive rehearsal process leading up to a live public performance. Under the guidance of professional storyteller and artist Charles Peoples III, you will work as an ensemble to create a show that celebrates our shared voices. We will explore how to connect with an audience, how to act a song, and how to support one another as a company. Participants will prepare solo or small-group numbers, selecting a song, story, or poem they would like to perform. All members will perform together in a fun, high-energy group finale. Come find your voice, make new friends, and experience the joy of the stage in a relaxed, encouraging environment. |
