Every child is an artist, and this week-long camp is all about artistic exploration! Our open-studio art space, stories, movement games, and play allow each child to follow their creative spark with support and gentle guidance. Whether in the indoor studio or with messy art outside, children will have the freedom to experiment and explore with materials, learn new techniques, and be inspired by one another and artists from around the world.

SAFETY: At Main Street Arts Summer Camps, the safety of each participant is our highest priority. We take all reasonable precautions to ensure your child's physical and emotional safety. However, as in any other experience, the risk of injury is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. Knowing that there are risks, I will not hold Main Street Arts responsible for any risks, injuries, or loss, known or unknown, that may arise out of my or my child's participation in Main Street Arts Summer Camp.
CANCELLATION POLICY: We understand that plans change! However, because we are a small nonprofit, cancellations can make it more challenging for us to manage camp enrollment. Our policy is that cancellations made up to one month (4 weeks) prior to the camp week will receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee. For cancellations less than one month prior to the date, refunds will be made only if we can fill the space. We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds in the case of camper illness or inability to attend for other reasons.

Jade Harmon is an elementary art teacher at Hilltop Montessori School. For 8 years, she has led an open studio-style classroom, delighting in the discoveries and perseverance of children. An active artist herself, Jade loves to work with color, crochet, make comics, and has learned from children to be a playful life-long explorer of art.
Jade received her BFA in art and creative writing from New College via The Union Institute. She has taught art to children of all ages. She loves adventures with her family, crochet-cuddles with her cats, and walking in the woods. |
