Taste of the Arts presents Fiddle Tunes from All Over...New England Style! with Jill Newton

Celebrating 33 years of playing together for square and contra dances, parties and festive occasions, Laurie and Jill will play tunes and discuss their origins and styles. With an emphasis on Vermont tunes and traditions and fiddle harmonies, it promises to be a fun-filled, toe-tapping evening.

Taste of the Arts presents Creativity and the Scientist with Jim Macri
Thursday, April 8th at 6:00 P M
Jim Macri will discuss his 30-year experience in the field of human genetics, birth defects and prenatal diagnosis and screening. Dr. Macri will describe the early years and the need for discovery and innovation, subsequent discoveries of both an intentional and serendipitous nature, and the role his New York laboratory played in the development of this field of medicine.
