Saxtons River, Live!
Calling all interested participants! No experience necessary! Main Street Arts is reprising its popular radio show cabaret from the
summer of 2005. With the help of Stuart Joseph, the cast will
recreate the scripts of years ago. Comedy, mystery...the possibilities
are endless. The show will also feature musical numbers directed by
Eric Robinson.
Performances are August 27 and 28 at 7:30 P.M. All seats are $10,
and tickets will be available in mid-August.
Rehearsals begin July 5. So, if you can sing or act or have always
wanted to try, we want you! E-mail msa@sover.net or call (802) 869-
2960 by the end of June to let us know you’d like to be part of the
production.
Recycle—Renew—Reuse …
GREEN ART !
Annual Art Show and Silent Auction
Each year, MSA has put together an annual art show that features
work by local artists that is auctioned off as a benefit for MSA. Past
themes have included sap buckets, mirrors, clocks and planters!
This year’s art will have the theme of renew, reuse, or recycle, and
we are looking for artists to donate work. Perhaps you have a broken
work that could be renewed. Maybe you have an item that could be
reused in a different format. Or perhaps you might create something
entirely new from recycled objects.
Work is due the week of August 9
and will be on display on MSA’s Web site after August 1.
The finale of the art show and silent auction take place at a reception
held in conjunction with the Saxtons River, Live! performance August
28.
To donate work, contact MSA at (802) 869-2960 or
e-mail
msa@sover.net.
